REJOINDER: THE APC’S FAMILIAR SCRIPT OF DIVISION WILL NOT BREAK OSUN CIVIL SERVICE

 Olusoji Wojuade.

The recent faceless publication titled _“Suffering and Smiling of Civil Service Career Progression Under Incompetence Governance”_ is not what it pretends to be. It is not a cry from within the Osun State Civil Service. It is a script written, directed, and circulated by the very people it claims to address: the All Progressives Congress, APC.

Osun people know this pattern too well. When facts fail, the APC resorts to anonymous letters, half-truths, and manufactured crises designed to sow discord among civil servants and discredit a government that is delivering.

A Pattern of Sabotage, Not Reform.

The article raises the issue of retired Permanent Secretaries retaining acting roles after political appointment. If this were a genuine concern for public service reform, it would have been raised openly, with facts and proposals—not hidden behind anonymity and laced with inflammatory language.

This is the same playbook the APC has used before. One of their most calculated tricks was the deliberate stoppage of local government funds for over a year. The plan was obvious: cripple grassroots administration, starve infrastructural development, and make the running of government in Osun appear difficult and chaotic. They hoped that by weaponizing impunity against the people, they could turn public opinion against a government that was only just beginning to rebuild.

It failed. Because Osun people know who is working for them.

Performance, Not Politics, Earns Loyalty.

Governor Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke’s administration is waxing stronger by the day, and his popularity is gaining ground daily because governance is being felt at the grassroots. Roads are being rehabilitated, salaries and pensions are paid as and when due, infrastructure is being revived, and workers’ welfare is no longer an afterthought.

It is an assurance grounded in fact that the Governor enjoys the support of over 90% of the state public service. This support is not transactional. It is not about what we gain personally. It is about our stand for God, for humanity, and for posterity.

Civil servants see a government that prioritizes people over politics. Among every twelve, there will always be a Judas. But the presence of a few sponsored voices will never stop the overwhelming majority of dedicated public servants in Osun from standing with the chosen of God.

We Know What We Want

Osun has tried both sides. We have experienced governance under the APC and under Governor Adeleke. The difference is visible, verifiable, and undeniable. No amount of evil ploys, anonymous memos, or recycled propaganda will make civil servants forget what they have seen and what they want.

The word of God is clear on this matter: _“He who repays evil for good, evil will not depart from his house”_  Proverbs 17:13.

Let the APC try all their evil machinations. Let them plot, scheme, and circulate faceless letters. The Lord’s will shall triumph, and Osun will continue to move forward under leadership that serves the people.

Conclusion

To the faceless authors and their APC sponsors: the civil servants of Osun State are not gullible. They are not pawns in your political game. They have chosen competence over chaos, performance over propaganda, and Governor Ademola Adeleke over retrogression.

Osun is moving forward. No anonymous letter, no withheld fund, no manufactured crisis will stop it.
