Alimi Employment Beneficiaries Distribute Food Items, Endorse Governor Ademola Adeleke for Second Term

ERIN-OSUN – 15/03/2026

In a show of gratitude and compassion, a forum known as the Alimi Employment Beneficiaries on Sunday distributed food items to widows and other vulnerable members of the community in Erin-Osun. The beneficiaries of the outreach were drawn from Erin-Osun, Ifon, and Ilobu.

Speaking during the distribution exercise, representatives of the forum explained that the initiative was inspired by two major reasons. Firstly, they expressed profound gratitude to Almighty Allah for the rare privilege of securing employment through the support and efforts of Barrister Kolapo Alimi. Secondly, they noted that the gathering also provided an opportunity to offer prayers for Oluomo Kolapo Alimi in appreciation of his impactful service to humanity through various public offices he has held.

According to them, while serving as Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs during Aregbesola regime, Alimi utilized his office to facilitate employment opportunities for many individuals across local governments, ministries, and government agencies.

Furthermore, they recalled that during his time as Senior Legislative Aide to the Right Honourable Femi Gbajabiamila, Alimi extended similar support by assisting several people in securing meaningful employment opportunities.

They also commended his current role as Commissioner for Information and Public Enlightenment, noting that he continues to use the position to advance the interests of the state while contributing positively to the welfare of the people. Adding that they are in full support of reelection of Governor Ademola Adeleke for continuity of his good works.

Some of the beneficiaries who received the food items expressed heartfelt appreciation to the forum for the thoughtful gesture. They also offered prayers for the continued success of the Alimi Employment Beneficiaries forum and for Oluomo Kolapo Alimi, asking God to grant him greater strength and wisdom to continue serving humanity.
